Robert has more than 30 years of experience in strategic marketing, brand messaging and visual communication. As the founder and Executive Creative Director of O2 Lab, Robert directs all aspects of the studio’s work in marketing, messaging and branding, ensuring the firm’s high standards are consistently upheld. Whether it’s a tech giant or a mission-driven nonprofit, Robert delivers high-impact solutions that transform the way his clients communicate. Robert is past Vice-President of the Washington, DC Chapter of the AIGA and a 2013 graduate of Leadership Greater Washington. He is also an adjunct professor of graphic design at the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at The George Washington University.
Sara spent 20 years as a writer and editor for major publications, including Education Week and U.S. News & World Report. As a writer, she has contributed to the Washington Post, Scientific American, and Health Affairs, among other outlets. As a graphic designer, Sara’s interests range from traditional book arts to digital animation, with a keen knowledge of typography and a passion for illustration. Her work brings smart, strategic thinking to the visual communication of ideas. Sara studied graphic design at the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at The George Washington University. She holds a BA in English from Princeton University.
A talented, multi-dimensional designer with a refined, modern sensibility, Nora brings a broad array of skills to the team. Whether it’s crafting a logo or an entire brand, a website design or a motion graphic, she is known for creating dynamic, effective solutions for a variety of clients. Nora holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at The George Washington University.
Fred is a highly creative thinker and energetic team member with a dedication to great design. Prior to joining O2 Lab, Fred spent 10 years in communications and cause-related marketing, where he helped build and manage relationships between corporations and nonprofit organizations. Fred holds a BA in Journalism & Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He graduated in 2017 with a BFA in Graphic Design from the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at The George Washington University.
