AIGA, the leading professional association for design, provides resources, continuing education and ideas.Robert McVearry, O2 Lab founder and executive creative director, is a past vice-president and executive board member of AIGA DC and has led numerous committees. He is a founding member and Circle Member contributor of the AIGA DC Design Continuum Fund, an annual scholarship program for local design students. Jennifer Kolansky, O2 Lab creative director, is a past executive board member of AIGA DC and past editor of the AIGA DC journal, [un]coated, and has been involved locally and nationally.
Access Youth is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide at-risk youth with access to the skills, resources and support they need to stay in school and out of the criminal justice system.Robert McVearry, O2 Lab founder and executive creative director, has served on Access Youth’s board of directors since 2015 and has been an active member since 2012 on the Planning and Host Committee for the organization’s annual fundraising event.
Leadership Greater Washington connects diverse regional leaders and challenges them to improve the quality of life in the Greater Washington area. It facilitates cooperative work on a regional basis, fostering discussion, sparking problem-solving and motivating leaders to make positive change to regional challenges.Denise Hart, O2 Lab founder and strategist, served on the board of LGW for two consecutive terms and is a member of the Class of ’08. Robert McVearry, O2 Lab founder and executive creative director, is a member of the Class of ’13. Both are active in the organization.

The Leadership Foundry prepares women to serve on corporate boards in our region through a 9-month program and intensive board training by the National Association of Corporate Directors. Denise Hart, O2 lab founder and strategist, is a co-founder of The Leadership Foundry. She has served as Vice Chair and Chair and is currently the Board Member at Large.
